GCM Upgrades - NOW AVAILABLE - $4,990

This is our newest offering, based on our Davis Dam Profile Testing of the 300 Series LandCruiser. A standard GCM upgrade will cost $4,990.

This Upgrade is for vehicles which already have an upgraded GVM (i.e. suspension already fitted and compliant)

Option 1: GCM Upgrade takes your vehicle from 6,780 kg to 7,800 kg.

OR

​

Option 2: Combined with a BTC Upgrade to 4,000 kg, your new GCM will be 7,800 kg.

The GCM upgrade process includes the following:

Finite Element Analysis of key vehicle components - Thorough Vehicle Brake and ESC Testing - Davis Dam Profile Testing -  Individual Vehicle Compliance Checks

All modified vehicles are provided with mod decal to be applied to the vehicle.

WA Specific Approvals

In May 2024 the WA DoT released new guidelines for GCM Upgrades on Light Vehicles, the document which describes how this process is follwed is called VTB 181A.

Since this date, customers have been approaching Omega Vehicle Engineering with queries regarding GCM increases on their light vehicles. In response to this, Omega has engaged a test house in Victoria to complete all the required testing for the 300 Series LandCruiser. This has been presented to the WA DoT and we are awaiting feedback. This process has been multiple years in the making...

Due to the high cost of GCM testing, and the long wait times for review, no other vehicle types are being considered by Omega Vehicles at this time.
